Dallas County Jail Modifications
The Lew Sterrett Clinic, also known as the Med Mods project, was completed for Dallas County in partnership with Parkland Hospital. This highly-secured healthcare facility was constructed in two phases to serve the medical needs of county inmates. Phase One involved modifying the North Tower basement to house the relocated state-of-the-art jail pharmacy. Phase Two consists of inmate housing, a medical infirmary for acute care, jail clinic, radiology, dental clinics, and allocated space for a CT imaging machine. The mental healthcare area is capable of housing 145 inmates.
